Many other brands "vanity size" and the sizes listed on the tag are not the actual measurements. We recommend that you grab a pair of pants that you already own that fit you well and measure them. To get an accurate measurement, zip the zipper, button the button, lay them down flat and measure across the very top to get the actual waist (then double it).
